SWINGING IN THE FRONT YARD

This Walnut Creek front yard was redesigned to create a playful and sustainable outdoor space. Low water plantings approved by EBMUD frame the lawn conversation area, while a new concrete paver driveway and walkways bring structure and clarity to the layout. A recirculating rock water feature adds movement and sound, attracting birds and creating a calm focal point. Redwood posts support a simple, inviting swing that adds charm and a sense of play. The design blends creativity, function and ecological responsibility in a way that complements the home and surrounding landscape.
