THE PLANTING PLAN

I blend an art history sensibility with many years a practical horticultural knowledge sourcing sustainable materials and utilizing drought tolerant, low maintenance plants. Most of my gardens feature both California natives and carefully selected non-natives that are appropriate to the terrain, soil type, and exposure of each site and conserve water and do not out-compete our native species.  As an avid beekeeper, plant choices support pollinators like bees, birds, and butterflies, which bring vibrant beauty and magic to the garden.
